Thought for the day

19 Jul 2015 | : blog

A friend posted on fb that he thought the posting of political items was negative and
shouldn’t prevade our thoughts.
Of course, he brought religion in to prove his case.
We all do that to prove our point.
Saying that it is raining or that one is hungry, tired, jobless, homeless, moneyless,
or that some policial issue should be attended to is the statement of fact.
Negative maybe but fact none the less.
Should we ignore all facts not to our liking?

Consider this scripture?

10 Which dark and blackening deeds are enough to make hell itself shudder, and to stand aghast and pale, and the hands of the very devil to tremble and palsy.

11 And also it is an imperative duty that we owe to all the rising generation, and to all the pure in heart—

12 For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it—

13 Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven—

14 These should then be attended to with great earnestness.

15 Let no man count them as small things; for there is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends upon these things.
– Doctrine and Covenants 123:10 -15

Enough said.

“Just visited your Voice123 web site my friend and had a listen to all your demo’s.
What a great speaking voice and personality you have.
I am very impressed with your voice but also the fact that you speak different languages and seem to be able to arise to most any occasion.
Your natural flow when speaking and understanding how to place emphasis on key words is amazing.
I loved all the demo’s.
You have a great voice my friend.
I enjoyed all your demo’s but especially announcing the Baseball game…You sounded like a pro for sure.”

Fun, Fireworks, Folks from all over the world

(2013 July 4th)
Two Summers ago Lincoln’s Ghost attended the 4th of July celebrations held at Vernon Worthen Park in St. George, Utah.
Samantha Thomas, reporter for St. George TV News interviewed him about the visitors he’d met that day.
Besides fun, fireworks, folks from all over the world the day was planned to honor veterans of military.
Of course there was singing, dancing, water fun, and contests, and games.
And no one seemed to mind the heat.
See her report after the commercial at:

Lincoln’s Ghost (aka Jay Beacham) appears at 43 seconds to 48 seconds in the film clip.

There was fun, fireworks, folks from all over the world.
Just some of the happenings in St George that day.
