Jay’s Discount Store

Posted by on 06 Feb 2009 | Tagged as: blog

Okay, its a windy and stormy day.
When I first recorded a sound card for my first site last year it was a very windy day too.
So I would like to work and earn while not having to go out side and get ill in the bad weather.
Thus this site and this blog.
I have links on my main page to my other businesses and the new store front, Jay’sDiscountStore.
There was no grand opening, I just opened. Check it out. If you can’t find what you need, do what a friend did today, email me and ask for what you are looking for. I may not be able to accomodate you. But
then again, maybe I might.
That’s it for today.

Feb. 5 2009

Now 8 plus months later, lots of people have come to my store front but no one has bought anything yet. There are alot of nice things on there. Costumes, bikes, dishes, jewelry, watches, tools, computers, the list goes on (even dvd movies collections that are larger and cheaper than I’ve seen else where).

So  just visit it and get something for your valentine, children, parents, siblings, or even for your self. You be pleased with the selection and the low prices. Remember, this is new merchandise. If you can’t find an item you are looking for, just email or call me and I’ll see if I can track down what you’re looking for.

Happy shopping and buying.

DEC. 25, 2008

It has snowed in Utah’s Dixie on Christmas eve.  And though rain today is melting some, it is still very white and cold outside and cold inside too.

I’m back to the web-site to make improvements.

Still no revenue or voice jobs but lots of auditions and two ad agency ladies in SC like my voice and will use me when the next job comes up.

Doing voice work is fun. Now must promote self or sell self.   Tremendous Jones said that is more important than selling products or services.

Merry Christmas and check out all my sites and buy what you need as much and as often as you can.  And thank you kindly

Hello world!

Posted by on 31 Jan 2008 | Tagged as: blog

This is JayBeacham.com. Hi. I’ve been trying for over one year to get a site up and get a job(s) using my voice. I should have gone with Rick Gordan but at the time didn’t have the money. He directed me to Godaddy.com to set up a site and showed me other voice talent sites. I bought a domain name and got started. My son Steve set up stuff as my webmaster but then couldn’t continue. Later an acquaintence sent me to see a Roy Eckman. Roy had a neat little in home recording studio. I’d been with online voice resoure: Voicemodels (from referrals from Rick) where people could hear my voice. But Roy told me about Voice123. I signed up with them for a year. You can go there to hear my vocal cords. Unlike Roy, who got one free job, I’ve gotten none. Couldn’t afford the Language123 service at the time but may in the future. My brother helpped me set up a small mic for the computer and I recorded hundreds of voice demos on the software Rick had told me how to download. I was set right? Wrong. It seems more money for bigger and better everything is needed. This site, created on WordPress at the direction of Kirk Jensen, an instructor at Prosper-learning.com( I took an e-course in e-commerce from them), has been set up to see if I can get a job speaking or sell some of my recordings., etc. The point of all this is that I won’t need to go out and work on buildings when the weather is bad. Now more money to install buy now plugins by using a paid service is needed to use my pay pal buyers account. I don’t have it. No, using credit cards for business doesn’t always return money. Not going to do more of that. Besides this ought to pay for its self someday. So I’m here. Now what? Jay 5/15/08
