This week, Yahoo mail destroyed it’s self,
Now I can’t forward, send, reply, move to file folders and there are other problems too.
Not change for the better.
And tonight, I learned that Myspace destroyed everyone’s accounts,
(More improvement) with no warning to anyone.
Everyone is complaining.
A tornado can devastate things.
On the net, programmers can devastate also.
Change is inevitable, but change for the worst is what the net seems to provides.

Can money be made with affiliate products?
I’ll need to wait and see.
Here is a sample of just such an offer.
Will it get traffic?
Will that traffic convert into sales?

For the second straight week, Oklahoma City, Ok. has seen devastating tornadoes.
From the headlines we read:
In Oklahoma’s Tornado Alley….tens of thousands were without power…..more than 91,800 homes and businesses across the state remained without power Saturday.
I just spoke with my daughter in law, Cait, by phone, “I’m still alive. We’re out of power. Power lines down everywhere, poles just snapped off. I couldn’t handle being a pioneer. I need my power.”
I worked for a power company in the early 1980s. In ’83 a big wind put our power out for twenty four hours but in the surrounding area with REA and Utah Power, power remained out in areas for days because of the devastation.
Yes, Utah has tornadoes though not as often as the mid-west. See this footage from 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0VB5905Ebg
So what do we do when the power is off for an extended time?
Throw a neighborhood barbeque so that all the freezer food doesn’t spoil? Might be good for a day but what for food there after?
Having one’s own generator perhaps would be helpful. I have one in my motor-home but no gas in it right now and its not hooked to my house.
A good idea that I’ve run across is a generator that starts with a battery and then keeps running. And this generator can be self built.
The manual you need for this how-to is very inexpensive, $47 US.
Then you can build you own Magniwork Free Energy :

Let’s get a little more prepared.

I became acquainted with Les Thompson of Australia through our mutual participation in Sing Snap, an online Karaoke site.
He was a radio and TV broadcaster in Australia.
Now he runs the Classical Tours company in Europe.
Let me let Les tell you about his book.
“ I … covered voice production in my Ebook on media and communication skills.
I’m sure that you’ll see we have a lot in common when you read my Ebook…”
You’ll enjoy his site whether you are a pro-voice person or just an ordinary person.
He’s got something for you.
After listening to his video on that page, I thought of an experience of mine at the BYU School of Communications in 1972-73.
Here is a quick recap of it.
In college, after I’d been in radio for years,
We did a project on how the media camera creates news.
We had an interviewer, a guy from Lebanon, down in the common area with a microphone and a camera guy interviewing people.
My camera crew was in a tower stairwell, where the people on the ground couldn’t see us.
It was so interesting to watch people’s reactions to the camera interviewer.
Some would come out of the buildings, see the camera and mic and bee line to it.
Others would turn around and head back into the building or they would walk as far away from the camera as they could on their way to where they were going.
Here’s Les’s comments about my experience:
Normal reaction for the time, Jay. They are a little more camera savvy these days.
Radio was less intimidating and that gave us the edge ‘back in the day’! LOL
Cheers, mate!
Les.
That’s it for today.
Catch you next time.

Who Is The Best Website Provider In Ivins, UT?
How My Research Led Me To The Best Website Provider In Ivins, UT
May 22, 2013 – ADVERTORIAL
Finding a good website provider can be a tough task. Luckily, I found not just a good one, but agreat one.
I came across a company called FreeWebsite that provides free business and personal websites for residents in the Ivins area, and the site is definitely worth checking out!
Now when I think of getting something for free – I’m always skeptical. I immediately think if something is free then it’s either low quality or there is some type of catch.
After doing all my research, which included reviewing websites built by FreeWebsite, and also signing up for a website myself, I can tell you it is the best website provider around.
There is NO catch and NO fine print to worry about. FreeWebsite builds some of the highest quality and best looking websites I’ve seen on the web.
FreeWebsite has built a proprietary technology that allows it’s designers to build high-quality websites faster and cheaper than other website design companies.

Many things happened in the War Between the States or the Civil War.
The following books detail some of the first three years and the turning point of the war at Gettysburg, Pa.
The first two wars for independence which were won by using guerrillas warfare, being used by the Americans, but they forgot about it during the civil struggle, causing many more to die because of open live warfare. One book about the 1812 conflict seems an appropriate it so it is included here.
